Your First Visit

At the first visit we will ask your personal details including a full medical history.

If you are taking multiple medications please bring a list with you.

After an examination your dentist will talk about what treatment is necessary.

Costs of procedures will also be discussed during your visit so that you are aware of alternatives.

We are always happy to answer questions and help you address any concerns you may have about your teeth.

What will it cost?

After an initial examination your dentist will outline any costs before commencing a treatment plan. It is understandable that you may want to think about your the options before commencing treatment.

Cancellations

We are a busy clinic so we appreciate 48 hours notice of cancellation.
Repeated failed appointments may attract a charge.

Payment

All accounts should be settled on the day of treatment.
HiCaps, Credit card and EFTPOS facilities are available.

Free dental care for children at Kilsyth Dental

Eligible children needing to see a dentist can now do so without any out-of-pocket charges at our clinic thanks to a new Medicare-funded dental scheme.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) allows eligible children aged between 2 and 17 years access to basic dental services.
Families who receive Family Tax Benefit Part A or other government benefits are eligible for $1000 worth of Medicare-funded dental treatment over a two-year period.


Basic dental services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions will be bulk billed. 
You will be advised by Medicare directly by letter if your child is eligible.  

If you do not receive a letter, please call Medicare directly on 132 150.
